New in InnoCielo 2008: Application link improvements

The following products are now supported by application links:

Note    The 64-bit versions of the above products are supported only for functionality within the InnoCielo client but not within links to the 64-bit application.

The following additional improvements have been made:

• It is now possible to synchronize properties associated with expressions in SolidWorks, such as the standard expressions "SW-Filename", "SW-Total Sheets", "SW-Current Sheet" and "SW-Sheet Scale", as well as expressions containing "$PRP:"
• It is now possible to synchronize linked properties from files to the database during import by drag and drop. Enable the new option When a document is created on file import on the Title Blocks page in Configurator for each desired document type. However, if a wizard page is shown during import, the values from the file will be shown in the wizard but they can not be changed.
• Two new options have been added to the Actions tab of the Options dialog in Inventor 11 or higher: Save or update DWF file for current document and Save or update DWF file for all modified documents. Enabling either option will cause DWF files to be made from the corresponding document(s) if they are defined as an InnoCielo hybrid document type and attached to the main document as hybrid parts.
• An InnoCielo menu has been added to AutoCAD listing all available commands to synchronize properties or references, show or hide redlines, and edit properties.
• An InnoCielo toolbar and Create presentation file command are now available in Autodesk Revit 2008 that create a DWF file and attach it as a hybrid part of the current drawing. The Revit drawing must be associated with an IC Meridian hybrid document type for this feature to work.
• When saving a file through Application Integration that will replace an existing vault document, the user now has a Start Change option in addition to Start Quick Change and Cancel.
• Locking of part files in Local Workspace when an assembly is opened in SolidWorks can be controlled by a new client computer DWORD registry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Cyco\<ActiveProduct>\CurrentVersion\AmSldWorksEx\Options\CacheLockOnOpen

If this key is missing (default) or set to 0, part files will not be locked. Setting this key to 1 will lock the files.
